Blanket Exchange & Rental Agreement

VSE Aviation reserves the right to require an individual-use agreement, which will supersede this blanket agreement in the event of conflicting terms.

Applies only to exchange transactions.

• Return Requirements
  • Cores must be the same part number, configuration, and mod status as the unit provided.
  • Must include intact and legible data plates (part and serial number) and required trace documents (8130, teardown reports, etc.).
  • Cores must be economically repairable and returnable to serviceable condition with a standard overhaul.
• Due Dates
  • 15 calendar days from shipment (Domestic orders)
  • 20 calendar days from shipment (International orders)
• Late Returns
  • Cores not returned within the allowed timeframe may be rejected or invoiced for the full core value.
  • If accepted late, cores may be subject to a $100/day late fee.
• Unacceptable or Damaged Cores
  • Cores showing physical damage, heat/water exposure, catastrophic failure, or requiring excessive repairs will incur additional billing.
  • Incident-related cores will not be accepted without prior written approval.
  • If the repair cost exceeds the exchange fee + core charge, or the unit is Beyond Economic Repair (BER), the full core charge will be invoiced.

Applies only to rental transactions.

• Billing Terms
  • Rental charges begin on the shipment date and end upon receipt back at VSE Aviation or its supplier.
  • Units are billed on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, as agreed upon per transaction.
• Return Requirements
  • The exact same unit (same part and serial number) must be returned with all accompanying certifications (8130, teardown, etc.).
  • Units must be returned in good working condition, minus ordinary wear and tear.
  • No alterations to rental units are allowed.
• Loss or Damage
  • Rental units returned with damage, contamination, or beyond economic repair (BER) may be rejected or invoiced for full replacement cost.

• Return Costs
  • The customer is responsible for all return freight, taxes, duties, and brokerage fees.
  • Any fees incurred by VSE on behalf of the customer will be invoiced accordingly.
• Additional Charges
  • Costs from VSE or its vendors for evaluation, administrative, teardown, return freight, or other related services will be passed on to the customer.
  • Any over and above charges not paid within 5 business days may be charged to the credit card on file.

Please note, the Credit Card Authorization Form is required in addition to the Blanket Exchange & Rental Agreements. A valid card must be kept on file with the completed authorization to proceed with your exchange/rental order. For customers on prepay accounts, full credit card details must also be provided to your sales representative and kept on file. We cannot process exchange orders until both agreements and the authorization form are completed.
