This includes both the Global Parts, Inc. distribution business and the Global Parts Aero Services, Inc. MRO business. Global Parts provides superior aftermarket and OEM support for the business and general aviation (B&GA) market through parts distribution and a Part 145 Repair and Overhaul facility. We are pleased to be expanding our product distribution offering and enhancing our B&GA MRO capabilities through this acquisition. The Kansas-based Global Parts business offers highly complementary and additive airframe-related product lines to VSE’s existing portfolio, serving the B&GA market globally with over 95,000 part numbers in stock.
VSE Aviation provides aftermarket MRO and distribution services to commercial, cargo, business and general aviation, military/defense and rotorcraft customers globally with parts distribution, component and engine accessory MRO services, rotable exchange and supply chain services. Together, VSE and Global Parts provide an even more comprehensive parts distribution and MRO solution offering for our global business jet customers.
There is no change or impact to customers or suppliers today. We will communicate at a later time how the businesses will come together in 2022.
